2024年6月18日(火)〜20日(木)にパシフィコ横浜で開催された、SPIE Astronomical Telescopes＋Instrumentation 2024において、九州工業大学の佐野圭助教、Galindo Rosales Reynel Josue研究員、中川俊輔君 (修士2年)、川﨑悠貴君(修士2年)、Ezra Fielding君(修士2年)、JAXA宇宙科学研究所の瀧本幸司研究員、東京工業大学の田中颯君(修士2年)が衛星開発の進捗状況について発表しました。九州工業大学の佐野圭助教の発表題目は「Astronomical 6U CubeSat mission VERTECS:Scientific objective and project status」、Galindo Rosales Reynel Josue研究員の発表題目は「VERTECS: Thermal modeling and analysis to enhance mission efficiency through temperature control strategies of a 6U CubeSat with visible light telescope」、中川俊輔君の発表題目は「VERTECS: Operational and Power Management Strategy」、川﨑悠貴君の発表題目は「VERTECS: Design and development of 6U CubeSat structure for observations of extragalactic background light」、Ezra Fielding君の発表題目は「VERTECS: A COTS-based payload interface board to enable next generation astronomical imaging payloads」、JAXA宇宙科学研究所の瀧本幸司研究員の発表題目は「VERTECS: Development Status of the Mission Payload Specialized in Visible EBL Observation」、東京工業大学の田中颯君の発表題目は「Attitude and orbital control simulation for VERTECS」でした。
