Partner Institutions
VERTECS will be developed by a collaboration between Kyushu Institute of Technology, JAXA, Tokyo City University, Kwansei Gakuin University, The University of Tokyo, Institute of Science Tokyo, Tohoku University, Kanazawa University, University of Fukui, SEIREN Co., Ltd., Cosina Co., Ltd., Image Tech Co., Ltd., National Tsing Hua University, and National Chung Hsing University join VERTECS as international collaboration institutes. This mission was selected by JAXA-SMASH (JAXA-Small Satellite Rush) Program. The satellite was launched on 12th June, 2026 and the operation is ongoing.
