VERTECS Displayed at Kyushu Institute of Technology Open Campus 2026

On August 1, 2026, a poster and model of the VERTECS nanosatellite were displayed at Open Campus 2026, held at the Tobata Campus of Kyushu Institute of Technology.

The exhibit used a poster and satellite model to introduce the VERTECS mission, the satellite system, and initial operations following launch. It provided visiting high school students and their families with an opportunity to learn about space observation missions using nanosatellites and about space engineering and space science research and development at Kyushu Institute of Technology.

By presenting research activities directly connected to satellite development, the exhibit also helped visitors interested in space systems engineering and nanosatellite development become more familiar with the VERTECS project.

The VERTECS project will continue contributing to the education of the next generation of space professionals through its research and educational activities while pursuing scientific results from observations of the cosmic optical background.
