Visit the VERTECS Exhibition at Tokyo City University’s Setagaya Festival

Tokyo City University will hold its 97th Setagaya Festival on October 31 and November 1, 2026. If you are visiting the festival at Setagaya Campus, stop by the VERTECS exhibition and information monitor to learn more about our mission in space.

The Setagaya Campus Library is hosting “Astronomical Nanosatellite VERTECS — Unraveling the History of the Universe” on its first floor. The exhibition features a full-scale model of VERTECS and introduces its observation mission and journey from launch to full-scale astronomical observations.

A monitor near the entrance to the Space Science Research Center on the first floor of Building 6 also displays the satellite’s current location and other real-time information based on data received from VERTECS.
